A Third Option

An elderly lady told me once; the United States is a big basket full of different fruits.
Everyone has something to offer from their roots.
Where talents bloom without compulsion —
That’s why people have been fighting for diversity’s coxon.

Many parties bring less reduction,
Leaders rise without compunction,
Support, not split, is a better function —
Hence unity can be the survival oxen.

Shutting gifts breeds earth’s malfunction,
Rage or wisdom spark reaction,
Growth or harm, it’s our construction —
Let’s see if we are choosing the nurture’s blossom.

A strong leader shows wise precaution,
And a woman’s health knows less obstruction,
Rules can care for life’s production —
But let’s not forget a choice is part of life’s auction.

Privacy loss sparks mass dysfunction,
Censorship stunted clear deduction,
Of healthy minds that needed interaction —
However freedom has met a coward toxin.

Harmony brings a strong connection,
Like third ways bridging imperfection,
Peaceful hearts spark love’s eruption —
Curiosity on the other hand, lead to the brightest opsin.

And societies that desperately need clear direction,
Led by healthy talent for profound selection,
Balancing compulsion for my favorite, the wise selection.
