The Golden Rule

A famous book called The 48 Laws of Power has been praised for years, aligning with a quote written by Mario Puzo & Francis Ford Coppola; keep your enemies closer from the GodFather movie. Very different from the Golden Rule: treat others the way you want to be treated. As a previous athlete, I used to like competition, but never considered anyone an enemy. That doesn’t mean the opposite didn’t apply. Allow me to start with Cambridge dictionary for coward; the person who is easily frightened (aka threatened), or tries to avoid danger or difficulties. This is debatable as some would argue it’s inaccurate therefore incorrect as life requires us to be careful facing deliberate danger. Another Cambridge definition is someone who sends you a nasty letter without signing it.

Quoting from Ethics 101:

If you want to do something that will make an impact beyond your own life, then treat people better than they treat you, walk the extra mile, help people who cannot help you, do right when it’s natural to do wrong, and keep your promises even when it hurts.”

A concept that’s simple, yet not many can implement neither self content.
