The Kind Leader

As we close the year with global fever,
Questions rise on every leader:
Will 2024 birth hope or breeder
Of deeper doubts none can un-feather?

David Rock, a thoughtful reader,
Warned uncertainty grows ever bleaker;
Elections loom like restless seeder,
Middle East cries, Ukraine bleeds deeper.

DEI debates call each pleader,
Women’s rights need bolder leader;
Education, safety’s meter,
Privacy, AI’s tricky breeder.

Marilyn Fleet, a culture feeder,
Shared that gaps in language teeter;
Misunderstandings block the greeter,
Trust dissolves where hearts grow meeker.

Mary Anne Amato, wisdom’s reader,
Wrote of kindness as the leader’s meter:
To lift each soul, not be a bleeder,
Guide the team — their truest leader.

A leader’s rise reflects their seeker,
When those they touch grow kinder, and sweeter;
True power’s gift: a humble leader,
Whose every act makes others leader.

Whys Woman,
The Kind Leader
